Real estate due diligence is the service that ensures this decision is made with security, clarity, and predictability, eliminating hidden risks, legal liabilities, and future surprises.

You will then receive an email with a link for online payment, which is required to confirm your reservation. The consultation fee is 150€, , and payment must be completed within a maximum of 24 hours after the booking confirmation.

Critical analysis of contractual clauses, protection of the client’s interests, and alignment with the applicable legislation. - Guidance and preparation of powers of attorney (when necessary)
Preparation of powers of attorney and guidance on legalization procedures, particularly in international contexts. - Coordination with all parties involved in the transaction
Direct communication with the notary, bank, real estate agency, buyers, and sellers to ensure the proper organization of the process. - Legal assistance or representation on the day of the deed
Legal presence at the decisive moment of the transaction, ensuring that everything proceeds as planned. - Post-deed procedures and registrations
Follow-up on the final registrations and delivery to the client of all updated property documentation.
Steps Required to Purchase a Property in Portugal
It is not necessary to be a Portuguese resident or to hold Portuguese nationality to purchase property in Portugal. However, there are mandatory legal requirements that must be fulfilled.
Required documents and prerequisites:
- Portuguese Tax Identification Number (NIF)
- A bank account opened in Portugal
These requirements are necessary to ensure compliance with applicable legal regulations, particularly those related to anti-money laundering (AML) laws.
