D7 Visa – Retirement or passive income

Living in Portugal enjoying retirement, your own income or following religious purposes.

Financial Requirements:

The main applicant must prove that they receive at least €820 per month in passive income. Additionally, it is necessary to have a bank account in Portugal with a minimum balance of €9,840 (average of 12x €820).

Including family members:

When including family members in the process, consider +50% (per adult) and 30% (per child) of income and deposit requirements.

Processing time:

The process can take 3 to 6 months depending on the Embassy/VFS Global timeline. After approval, you will have 120 days to arrive in Portugal.

Visa D8 – Remote work and digital nomads

If you dream of living and working remotely from Portugal for a company located outside Portuguese territory, the D8 Visa for remote workers could be the solution!

Financial Requirements:

The D8 Visa is intended for remote workers who earn at least €4*820 (totaling €3,280) per month. The government will evaluate the funds based on a document proving the services provided to one or more entities.

Including family members:

When including family members in the process, you must prove that you receive at least (4 * €820) monthly + 50% (per adult) or +30% (per child).

Processing time:

The process can take 3 to 6 months depending on the Embassy/VFS Global timeline. After approval, you will have 120 days to arrive in Portugal.
