Enrollment in a professional association

In Portugal, as in many other countries, the exercise of certain professions is limited to prior enrollment in a professional association. This is the case for lawyers, doctors, dentists, accountants, etc.

Thus, as the objective is to exercise a regulated professional activity in Portugal, it is very important to be aware of the requirements for registration/admission to the respective Professional Association.

It is also worth checking if there is any flexibility due to a possible reciprocity agreement between Portugal and the country where you graduated/worked.
